This Listing Policy outlines the standards and requirements for all vehicle listings on Buy Sell Cars Zimbabwe. All sellers must comply with these guidelines to maintain the quality and trustworthiness of our marketplace.
All listings must accurately represent the vehicle being sold. This includes the correct make, model, year, mileage, condition, and price. Sellers must disclose any known defects, damage, or modifications. Misrepresenting a vehicle's condition or details is strictly prohibited.
Listings should include clear, high-quality photos of the actual vehicle being sold. Stock images or photos of different vehicles are not permitted. We recommend including photos of the exterior from multiple angles, the interior, the dashboard/odometer, and any notable features or damage.
Listed prices must reflect the genuine asking price for the vehicle. Misleading prices (e.g., listing at $1 to attract attention) are not allowed. If the price is negotiable, this should be indicated in the vehicle description rather than by listing an inaccurate price.
You must have legal ownership or authorisation to sell any vehicle you list. Stolen vehicles, vehicles with unresolved liens, or vehicles that cannot legally be sold in Zimbabwe must not be listed. Sellers are responsible for ensuring all documentation (registration, roadworthy certificates, etc.) is in order.
The following are not permitted on our platform: stolen vehicles, vehicles without valid documentation, non-vehicle items (unless categorised as parts/accessories), duplicate listings for the same vehicle, listings used primarily for advertising non-vehicle services, and any content that violates Zimbabwean law.
Individual sellers may list up to 2 vehicles at a time. Dealerships may list vehicles according to their subscription plan: Community Access (up to 20 vehicles), Growth Accelerator (up to 75 vehicles), or Dealership Dominator (up to 100 vehicles). To increase your listing limit, upgrade your subscription plan.
Sellers are responsible for keeping their listings up to date. Once a vehicle has been sold, the listing should be deactivated promptly through your dashboard. Inactive or sold listings that remain active may be removed by our team.
We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates this policy without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination. If you believe a listing violates our policy, please report it to us at sales@buysellcars.co.zw.
